Chamotte

Chamotte is sourced from best quality captive mines having pure grade of china clay by the process of levigation. The product produced with Chamotte has high purity, low porosity & thermal stability.

Application

  • LC CASTABLE
  • SPECIAL REFRACTORY APPLICATIONS
  • CEMENT ROTARY KILNS
  • KILN FURNITURE

Cacined Clay

Calcined clay is obtained by calcining (heating) superior grade clay at high temperature in Rotary Kiln. This removes moisture and volatiles, which thereby increasing the alumina content. Compared to an alumina content of about 30 % to 40 % in raw clay, Calcined clay has an alumina content of 40% to 60%.
